Misplaced them and lost yourself

Here's the thing, say, I give you a gift. Where do you keep it? On your head? In your hand. No matter how much you "LOVE" the gift, you won't tear open your chest and keep it safe inside your heart. You see, that's the thing, when someone gives you a gift, you keep it in your hand, not your heart. The people in your life are a gift from Allah. You took that boy and kept him in your heart. Your heart that belongs to Allah, you filled it with His disobedience. You gave the creation the spot of the creator, which is why it hurts so bad. That place was never meant for them, so they never stayed there. Us, humans with our fickle thoughts and ever changing feelings cause destruction far worse than any weapon could and before they could ruin you completely, Allah removed them from your lives. It's a favor, not the worst thing that's ever happened to you. I know it hurts but who is to be blamed?
Fill your heart so much with the love of Allah that there's no place for hatred. And if they are meant to be yours, Allah will return them to you when the time is right, when you are ready. And this time, you won't misplace your gift. You'll keep it where it belongs, in your hand, not your heart.
